A bright smile lights up a room; without words, it completely changes the mood wherever you are. This is the effect that warm colors have on you. Bright yellows and vibrant oranges all speak joy and happiness. Even after a long rain-shower, a rainbow can turn the ugly into a sight to see outside. While darker colors, like black, absorb heat, warm colors project it, allowing others to feel the warmth and joy that the colors posses themselves. Warm colors can either be a reality or an illusion; some use them to express their joy, while others use them to fool the world and themselves that they are as happy as they seem. Either way, I would say they do their job.
