Fade Into the White and Black-ground
Colors are often used to express emotion; feelings that you are inspired to share, afraid of revealing, or maybe not familiar with at all. Colors are like unspoken words, body language, or even your favorite song; they speak to what you feel at a certain time in your life. So what can you say about the colors black and white? They provide a basic clean palate of you to work with, but by themselves they don't really say much, and when you think about it, they can't really stand alone because they don't exist without the other colors. Remember? Black, is nothing but a mixture of all the colors. This is why I chose random, organic shapes placed in no particular order or pattern. For me it was to show how the lack in color reflected the lack of meaning in the shapes and their placement. In a world full of color and expression, black is white do not exist in solidarity; there's always an in between; I call this in between, gray.
